Worlds: create, upload, and export

Last updated July 28, 2026

Your server isn't tied to a single world. You can keep up to 25 worlds on your account and switch your server between them from the dashboard whenever you like. Worlds you're not playing on stay safely stored.

Creating worlds

Create a fresh world from the dashboard, or generate one from a seed if you're chasing a specific spawn. Switching the active world takes effect the next time your server starts.

Bringing your existing world

You can upload a world you already have:

  1. Zip your Java Edition save folder (the folder containing level.dat).
  2. Upload the .zip in the dashboard — up to 8 GiB.
  3. Switch your server to the new world.

The upload must be a Java Edition save. Worlds from Bedrock Edition (consoles, phones, Windows 10/11 edition) use a different format and won't work.

Backups

Every world is backed up automatically. If a griefing incident or a stray /fill ruins something, ask us and we'll restore an earlier state; you don't start over.

Exporting

Every world can be exported as a download at any time — including worlds you're not currently playing, and including after your plan has ended. Your builds are never locked in.

If an upload fails or a world doesn't behave as expected, ask on Discord and we'll take a look.
