Chunklink hosts vanilla Minecraft servers. Here's what that means in practice.
What's included
Every server runs the newest version of Minecraft from day one. When an update releases, you can join with it right away, and friends on older clients still get in.
Mods and plugins
Not yet. We're focused on making vanilla hosting as good as it can be.
If one plugin stands between your group and playing vanilla the way you want, tell us on Discord what you need. No promises, but we'd rather hear about it than have you leave over it.
Bedrock Edition
Yes, with zero setup. Every server supports Java & Bedrock crossplay: Bedrock players on phones, tablets, or the Windows 10/11 edition join with the same address Java players use. They don't need a Java account either; their Xbox Gamertag is all they need.
If you play on both editions yourself, you can link your accounts: one name, one skin, one whitelist spot, and your Bedrock inventory moves with you.
Consoles (Xbox, PlayStation, Switch) don't let you enter a server address themselves. Our Chunklink app puts your server in the console's LAN games list so it can join anyway. Here are all the details: Java and Bedrock together.
Datapacks and world settings
Worlds behave like standard vanilla worlds. If you're unsure whether something specific will work, ask on Discord before you commit to a plan. You'll get a straight answer.
